Charity Promise Auction in aid of Autism Jersey
You are invited to an Auction of Promises on Thursday 5 August in aid of Autism Jersey. The event is being held at the Post Horn, Hue Street, St Helier at 6pm.
For those who have never been to a Promise Auction before the process is quite simple:
- Individuals or business make promises in advance to make or do something (we've got some great things on the list already!).
- People turn up on the night for drinks and food then bid to their hearts content for the things they want.
- All the money raised goes to charity!
This will be a fun evening and I'd like to extend the invitation to you.
I'm also very interested in hearing from any individuals or business that would like to donate a promise or an item.
In addition to the above event, I am joining a team from Jersey on a 5 day trek in Jordan this November for Autism Jersey and we have to each raise £1600 for the charity by August. The cost of actual trek is paid for by ourselves so all the money donated on 5 August will go directly towards the fantastic work of Autism Jersey.
