Jason Butler is a professional artist living and working in
Jersey. Jason has achieved considerable success and his work is
housed in many collections both locally and abroad. He has held 11
one man shows and has collaborated in numerous groups
exhibitions.
Among Jason's many noticeable commissions, he has painted HRM the
Queen for the States of Jersey, Sir Philip and Lady Baillache, and
has recently been awarded the Annual Portrait commission for the
Jersey Heritage Trust, due to be unveiled in December 2009.
In November 2008 Jason visited Rwanda in collaboration with The
Mines Awareness Trust. The result of this project will be on
display at the Jersey Arts Centre in October 2009.
Jason has twice had his work accepted into the British Portrait
Award at the National Portrait Gallery in london.
Jason works in his studio in James Street, St.Helier and is happy
