’22 Reasons’ -  Exhibition 9th-12th June 2009 – open daily 9-4, Friday 9-12

Highlands College is delighted to announce the forthcoming art and design exhibition by the Foundation Degree in Art and Design students.

The work on show includes jewellery, sculpture, textiles, painting, glass, drawing, illustration, 3-D design, ceramics, photography, print, installation, animation. Whilst studying on the course, each student has identified an area of personal interest and made work through investigating different techniques and media whilst placing great emphasis on research.

The exhibition will take place in the two degree studios which have been cleared out specifically for the show. An allotted space has been designated for each student allowing them to exhibit their chosen work.

“The students have put an enormous amount of effort into the course this academic year. The work keeps getting better and better and the students deserve a lot of credit for their commitment and dedication. It has been a pleasure working with them and I am sure the exhibition will demonstrate the quality of students we have at Highlands School of Art.”
